Safer Internet Day (SID) is organized, in Canada, by the Canadian Centre for Child Protection (through its Cybertip.ca program). Every February, countries and organizations around the globe promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially amongst children and young people across the world.

- The Door That’s Not Locked - A comprehensive resource with age-specific Internet safety information.
- Kids in the Know - An interactive safety education program, for children from kindergarten to high school, for increasing their personal safety and reducing their risk of victimization online and in the real world. .
- The Mobile Safety Microsite - Details current and potential safety issues to children/adolescents using mobile phones, as well as steps parents/guardians can take to ensure their child/adolescent's mobile phone use is safe.
